Overview
BF-X2ME is an air ionizer in Shishido Electrostatic's WINSTAT series. It has an HDC-AC transformer and generates ions by corona discharge from tungsten emitter needles, delivering them to charged objects by airflow to remove static.
Output voltage is ±7,500 V (0-p), discharge time is 1.0 second or less at 300 mm with maximum airflow, and ion balance is kept within ±3 V at shipment. Airflow is 1.4 to 3.5 m³/min.
Its thin, light design changes little over time and delivers stable static removal over long periods. Emitter needle wear is extremely low, and the louver and needle unit can be removed without tools. The body angle adjustment has a lock mechanism, and LEDs and an alarm signal report power or fan faults. It is used in assembly, mounting and inspection processes for semiconductors, electronic devices and LCD panels.
