- ABF (Ajinomoto Build-up Film)The insulating film between the wiring layers of package substrates for high-performance processors, made by Ajinomoto.
- Actinic inspectionInspecting EUV photomasks with the same 13.5 nm light used in EUV lithography, to find the defects that will actually print.
- Coater/developerThe tool that coats wafers with photoresist, bakes them and develops the pattern, working inline with the lithography scanner.
