Overview

Fujifilm's semiconductor materials business offers photoresists and other lithography materials, CMP slurries, post-CMP cleaners, thin-film materials and polyimides, used both in front-end processing and in packaging.

In January 2024 its new CMP slurry facility at FFMT Kyushu in Kumamoto Prefecture began full-scale operation, an investment of about 2 billion yen. Fujifilm also makes CMP slurries in Arizona, Cheonan in South Korea and Hsinchu in Taiwan.
