Thermal analysis instruments (TG-DTA/DSC)
Thermal analysis instruments measure how materials change with temperature. Thermogravimetry (TG) tracks weight loss, and differential thermal analysis (DTA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) track heat flow, revealing decomposition, melting, glass transition and curing.
What it does
In semiconductors they are used to evaluate encapsulation resins, adhesives, substrates and other packaging materials.
Products (3)
- NEXTA® STA200 · Hitachi High-Tech
Hitachi High-Tech's thermal analyzer that performs thermogravimetry and differential thermal (or DSC) measurement simultaneously in one instrument.
- Thermo plus EVO2 TG-DTA series · Rigaku
Rigaku's differential thermal balance that measures thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis simultaneously with a horizontal differential method. Dynamic TG, which controls temperature based on the rate of weight change, is standard.
- DSC-60 Plus series · Shimadzu
Shimadzu's differential scanning calorimeters. They give a stable baseline across the whole temperature range.
