Test handlers
A test handler picks up packaged devices, places them in contact with the tester's sockets, holds them at the required test temperature, and sorts them by test result. It works together with a test system and largely sets how many devices can be tested per hour.
What it does
Handlers for memory test many devices in parallel, while handlers for high-end processors focus on removing the heat the device generates during test.
Products (5)
- M4173 · Advantest
A single-site test handler for R&D that can be operated remotely from anywhere in the world. It automates temperature testing from −45 to 125 °C.
- M4841 · Advantest
A high-throughput test handler for volume production of MCUs and DSPs. It tests up to 32 devices at once at 18,500 devices per hour.
- M4872 · Advantest
A test handler with ATC for the high heat generated when testing high-end SoCs, and a function that controls the load on the die area separately.
- M5241 · Advantest
A next-generation memory handler for volume testing of DRAM, NAND and HBM. Its micro-chamber design gives temperature accuracy of ±1.0 °C.
- M6242 · Advantest
Advantest's test handler for volume DRAM production, with more than twice the throughput of the previous M6241.
